Kids Country Club
We are an association (started by parents) of families of children who are described as medically fragile or dependent on technology as a result of illness, accident, or a genetic condition. We recognize our families have special needs. They may experience heightened levels of stress, have ongoing challenges and concerns about their children’s conditions – medical, physical and mental. Our group offers friendship, strength and companionship to families caring for children with high needs.
London Community Foundation
London Community Foundation and its donors strengthen our community by making strategic and effective grants, building and managing a permanent endowment, and serving our community as a resource and partner.
London Community Foundation will be a leader in community development, innovative granting, and endowment building – and the best choice for people who want to leave a permanent legacy to our community.
Community Foundations are one of the fatest-growing and most dynamic networks dedicated to building and strengthening communities in Canada.
London Community Foundation is a public foundation serving London and Middlesex County and is the tenth-largest community foundation in Canada. The Foundation, which was established by charter in 1954, was the vision of Mr. J. Allyn Taylor, retired Chairman of Canada Trust and currently the Foundation’s Honorary Chair. The Foundation was reactivated in 1979 and made its first grants in 1980. London Community Foundation is governed by a volunteer board of directors and is operated by a staff of six.
Salvation Army Centre of Hope
Each year we help over 100 families enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner, by making a substantial donation of turkeys to the Salvation Army’s Centre of Hope.
